The Pelias Hotel in the heart of the quaint village of Portaria surpassed my expectations. Its location right on the central square of the village provided me with easy access to all the charming shops and restaurants. Moreover, the hotel's position on a hill amidst lush vegetation offered breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. The rooms, with their nice view, were clean and well-maintained. The attentive staff made sure that every detail was taken care of, ensuring a comfortable stay. The breakfast spread provided a delightful start to the day, with a wide selection of delicious options.

Clean, cozy and nicely located
Private parking was not available and it was difficult to find a place in the village at high season. Wi-fi was also not available. The water in the bathroom was too hot and there was no curtain so the small bathroom was getting wet.

The staff at the Pelias hotel made our stay wonderful. They were there to address all our concerns and cook up a magnificent breakfast every morning. George's tips on things-to-do around Pelion made planning our days very easy.

Spent Easter holiday at this lovely family hotel. The continental breakfast was great, I loved the endless choices of bread, fruits, and yogurt. The staff was super accommodating, they allowed us to check-in early and helped us select the perfect room. The hotel is situated in the center of the village, which made it very convenient to walk to nearby restaurants, cafes, and shops. the surrounding scenery was stunning, we enjoyed peaceful walks along the trails.
The bathroom amenities were lacking, we only received shampoo and soap, and the towels were not replaced on a daily basis. , the parking situation was a bit difficult, as the hotel does not have its own parking.

The hotel is situated in a great spot, in the heart of a charming village. It's an easy walk to the town center and its amenities. the plaza in front of the hotel is a wonderful, lively place, with lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants.
The room I stayed in was not up to the standard I expected. the size was small and cramped, the bed was uncomfortable, and the noise level was high.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the center of a traditional village near Volos. The location was just perfect, right on the central square of Portaria village. The surrounding lush vegetation made it even more picturesque. The staff were very friendly and provided us with useful information about the area. The rooms had a nice view and were clean and tidy.
No complaints, everything was great.

The breakfast had a decent variety of options and the staff were very helpful with recommendations for dining and sightseeing. the location was perfect, close enough to walk to the main attractions but away from the crowds. Another plus was the free parking, a rarity in the area.
The building was a bit run-down and could use some updates. the room was a bit small and lacked proper soundproofing, making for a noisy night's sleep.
